    Waspmote is an open source wireless sensor platform especially focused on the implementation of low consumption modes which allows the sensor nodes ("motes") to be completely autonomous, that is battery powered. The lifetime of Waspmote sensor nodes may go from 1 to 5 years depending on the duty cycle and the radio used.

    XBee-PRO ZB embedded RF modules provide cost-effective wireless connectivity to devices in ZigBee mesh networks. Utilizing the ZigBee PRO Feature Set, these modules are interoperable with other ZigBee devices, including devices from other vendors†. Programmable versions of the XBee-PRO ZB module make customizing ZigBee applications easy, even without wireless design expertise. SMA-RP Version.
