Small Blind Spot Ultrasonic Distance Detection
The EM400-MUD uses ultrasonic distance detection which allows for more precise distance measurement and small blind spot. Its precise measurements make it an ideal device for a range of applications, from garbage bin monitoring to parking lot management.
1) Smart Parking
EM400-MUD detects parking space occupancy using high-frequency sound waves for timely reports of incoming and outgoing vehicles, ensuring that the parking space occupancy status is up-to-date and reliable.
With integration with cloud platform, EM400-MUD provides a seamless and hassle-free parking experiences for drivers, as well as enabling parking lot managers to analyze and optimize parking operations for higher efficiency.
2) Smart Waste Management
EM400-MUD also support fill level monitoring for medium or large trash containers, like commonly seen municipal trash cans. With ultrasonic sensor to detect overflowing garbage, built-in 3-axis accelerometer to detect the status of the garbage bin lid, and built-in NTC thermistor to detect trash combustion, EM400-MUD is the ideal solution for smart waste management, providing a long-lasting performance that customers can rely on.
3) Common Distance/Level Measurement
With the feature of small size and non-contact detection, EM400-MUD also supports other distance/level measurement applications, such as waste water management, fill level monitoring in grains or fertilizer, providing great flexibility.

EM400-MUD comes equipped with THREE pre-set modes, namely the Standard Mode, Bin Mode, and Parking Lot Mode, each designed to cater to the requirements of common distance measurement, waste bin monitoring and parking management applications.
These modes are configured with different data collection and report intervals to ensure optimal performance. With these ready-to-use modes available, users can integrate EM400-MUD into monitoring solutions quickly.
Rugged and Reliable IP67 Rated Enclosure
IP67 rated enclosure ensures EM400-MUD is protected against dust, water, and other environmental hazards, enabling it to withstand harsh environment.
EM400-MUD also features a conformal coating on its PCBA, which provides an extra layer of protection against moisture, dust, and other contaminants that can damage electronic components.
