SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E for Meshtastic
SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E for Meshtastic
Meshtastic is an open-source communication project designed to create a mesh network-based communication system using low-power, long-range radio like LoRa.
T1000-E offer:
● Mesh Communication for Remote Areas
Say goodbye to connectivity concerns. Using the open-source Meshtastic protocol and LoRa technology, the T1000-E enables seamless communication and location tracking in signal-deprived environments—ideal for hiking, camping, and emergency scenarios.
● Compact and Portable
Retaining its predecessor’s ultra-slim, credit card-sized design (6.5mm thick), the T1000-E is built for portability and convenience.
● Enhanced Multi-Protocol Support
Featuring nRF52840 and LR1110 chips, the T1000-E supports LoRa, Bluetooth 5.0, Thread, and Zigbee, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices and networks.
● Superior Positioning
Powered by Mediatek’s AG3335 GPS chip, the T1000-E delivers precise positioning to enhance your navigation experience.
● Expandable and Developer-Friendly
Equipped with four pogo pins, it supports USB-based Device Firmware Upgrades, serial logging, and API access for seamless device management and debugging.
● Open Source Integration
Fully compatible with Meshtastic's open-source mesh networking, T1000-E empowers developers and outdoor enthusiasts to unlock long-range, low-power communication possibilities.
If you are in an environment without mobile signal or internet connection, such as during hiking, camping, emergency rescue, or other outdoor activities, as long as you and your companions each have a T1000-E and are paired with your phones, you can communicate and locate each other using the Meshtastic app.
The T1000-E is the same size as a card and is only 6.5 mm thick, making it very portable.
The T1000-E comes with a 4-pin charging cable.

Hardware Overview:
Application:
If you've got a IP65 rating Meshtastic device with GPS, temperature, lightness and motion (3-Axis Accelerometer) sensors, numerous potential applications await. Use the Meshtastic APP to communicate with low-power, long-range LoRa® devices via your phone. Connect with nearby nodes, participate in group chats, and share geographic locations—all in areas without cellular coverage.
Recommended Use Cases:
- Asset Tracking: Track the movement and location of your assets and monitor environmental and moving conditions in real-time where the asset is located for better management.
- Outdoor Adventure: Use this ready to deploy Meshtastic device for off-grid communication with your hiking or camping group. The GPS can help track locations, while temperature and motion sensors can provide real-time environmental and movement data to ensure safety.
- Environmental Monitoring: Collect and transmit environmental data. Deploy the device in remote areas to monitor and log temperature and lightness over time, contributing to local weather data collection. Use the device to track and monitor environmental conditions in wildlife habitats, aiding in research and conservation efforts.
