SenseCAP 2101 temperature & humidity sensors satisfy industrial long-distance data acquisition with a wide range of -40°C to 85°C and 0 to 100 %RH respectively. With Bluetooth 5.0 for easy configuration and firmware upgrade and a built-in replaceable battery for minimal maintenance, it also supports three different LoRaWAN network architectures enabling you to easily join it in existing gateways and network servers to build flexible and high-performance sensor network.
Among the first launch of Seeed industrial IoT (IIoT) product series, SenseCAP is focusing on wireless environmental sensing applications: smart agriculture, precision farming, and smart city, to name a few. It consists of hardware products (sensors, data-loggers & gateways, etc.), software services (SenseCAP portal, mobile App, open dashboard), and API for device & data management. About S210X Series
The next generation of LoRa sensors of SenseCAP, the S210X series oﬀers users' industrial long-distance data acquisition via LoRaWAN. The S210x series is suitable for a wide variety of diﬀerent industries such as smart agriculture, smart buildings, and industrial control.
With the IP 66 rating, - 40 ~ + 85C ° operating temperature, and built-in 19AH high-capacity battery, combined with the devices’ low power consumption, the S210x series can operate in harsh outdoor environments for up to 10 years with a range of up to 10km. The built-in Bluetooth facilitates setup and greatly reduces large-scale deployment costs. Users can focus on application development with the easy set-up, and start retrieving data in a few steps. Just install the device, bind it using the QR code and conﬁgure the network, then data can be viewed from the SenseCAP portal, which supports popular IoT protocols such as HTTP and MQTT.

SenseCAP S2101 LoRaWAN air temperature and humidity sensors measure atmospheric temperature and humidity in the range of -40°C to 85°C and 0 to 100 %RH (non-condensing) respectively. Featuring high precision, stability, and high EMC robustness, this sensor is suitable for industrial applications such as weather stations, outdoor farms, tea plantations, greenhouses, and more.
SenseCAP S2101 incorporates a built-in LoRa Module on LoRa-E5 for long-range transmission, an air temperature and humidity sensor, and a standard Li-SOCl2 battery. It is specifically designed and optimized for use cases powering end devices with batteries for years. To minimize the power consumption, the device wakes up, transmits the collected temperature and humidity data to the gateway, and then goes back to sleep.
Under the best of circumstances, the battery is expected to last for more than 10 years, depending on the environmental factors and data transmission intervals. Please kindly note that the default interval is once per hour. The sensor can quickly replace a new battery by unscrewing three screws. The battery is a standard Li-SOCl2 battery (type: ER34615) that can purchase from Amazon and other platforms.
The built-in Bluetooth facilitates setup and greatly reduces large-scale deployment costs, and you can use the App to configure some parameters, like frequency, and interval. In addition to setting parameters, the App also supports firmware updates, device management, and data viewing.
