    Water Leak Detector Modbus RS485

    An IP66 RS485 Water Leak Detector can monitor water leakage. Use in emergency water leak situations like kitchens, power distribution rooms, and warehouses. Use the sensor with SenseCAP Data Logger for seamless data collection and management.

    When detects a leakage, it will be triggered to turn on the alarm system or shut down indoor equipment to ensure safety, lower risks, and reduce damages, making it widely applicable in industrial environmental sensing scenarios.

    Water leakage might destroy properties in our homes, Server rooms, power distribution rooms, and warehouses and potentially cause health risks. It's essential to be alert when there is a leakage to ensure actions that minimize risks and avoid damages.

    When the submerged water level touches the sensor probe, the built-in relay will be triggered, turning on the alarm system or shutting down the indoor equipment. The control circuit has lower potential energy, which will not cause any flammable or combustible materials to catch fire, ensuring safety.

    Note

    • The probe pole of the sensor is placed facing down to the ground vertically. The sensor should be placed in the lower spot in the flat area.
    • If you need to detect a small amount of water (not to a certain depth), it's a good practice to place a sponge tray under the probe.
